Now that the guest book is already installed I see I must have selected "safe mode" during the installation because the pic load does not work.

How can I change this "without' reinstalling the guestbook.
I don't want to over-write the present data base.

I see in the administration section it says to look at the php.ini and turn off the "safemode" This must be the config.inc.php file???

Help please. Thanks!

Blessings to all.

Smilies
If you have used email or internet chat, you are likely familiar with the smilie concept. Certain standard emoticons are automatically converted into smilies. <-- make sure you activate this!

about your forum.. very nice xmb.. but i would recommand ikonboard over xmb because xmb got so many bugs ... i tired it before! look at my guestbook! http://tuan.allviet.com/guestbook/addentry.php

James,

The smileys work great. That setting is available from the administration control panel. "on or off"

I meant the picture uploads.

Anyway I have made a temporary fix by creating a tmp directroy in the guestbook directory.

I also had to create the public directory also using WS_FTP-Pro

Anyway, thanks.

PS Opps - call you jack when I signed your guestbook.

Blessings to all.
