There's a conversion tool here:
http://www.4webhelp.net/us/timestamp.php?
might be heavy handed but if you go to templates/form.php
find and remove:

<input type="checkbox" name="gb_private" value="1">
<font size="1" face="$VARS[font_face]">$LANG[FormPriv]</font>

The visitor won't see it any more
sorry carbonize crossed posts there
I'll butt out

The Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at . . .

Is usually caused by a blank line or "white space" at the end of an edited file.

Look for this in both the files mentioned in the error message
spot on again - thank you carbonize
used the $host = $this->ip; mod
is that correct?
I wish to ban the spammer with the hostname: neg229.named1.com
but I can't convert the hostname to IP address - tried tools such as http://ipfinder.info/scripts/host.php

I'm sure I've seen the answer on this forum but can't find it now I need it.
Isn't this the error caused by the 'white space ' at the bottom of the script
have a look and delete any spaces at the end of the script
I've just been to http://woodystaverntexas.hostasaurus.com/guestbook/admin.php and entered the default passwords. I took the liberty of making fatjack a banned word then signed your GB- it works.
Have you fixed it?
Just been there and test 123 worked for me.
Well Done Sir
If you want it tested carbonize I'm game.

Yep it works, only on my computer the text entry box on the form is the same colour as the curser.

Didn't think it was working at first.

Cheers Geo,

Nothing as clever I am afraid. Just one GB - but it seemed to me going to all the trouble of integrating the GB into the site, to do it seamlessly, some of the site should integrate into the guest book. So GB looking links appear on each page and pages using lists I have stolen the GB look.

I am trying at the moment to populate the gig list using php but at present it's just html.
