What's the su stand for? SUcky PHP? Seriously Useless PHP? What's wrong with normal PHP? I'll throw together a very very simple test script later that will just use the standard mail function of PHP to send an email to me so I can see the headers for myself.

Anyway I originally made the reset script just insert the original data from the install back into the username and password but then someone reported the encryption change in the passoword function. So now my reset script lets you specify a username and password by editing the script and then gets MySQL to encrypt the password so it will be correct for your MySQL version. Bloody annoying thing to change though

I have to keep stopping work on AG 2.4 as I keep having to go back and change things due to updates like this. So far I have converted all the old $http_xxx_xxx style arrays into the newer $_POST etc, I have also rewritten the get_template function but thats just to test something.

Yes I should of stuck with freddy's original idea of the error message page as used by the guestbook where you have to click back. I overcome the blank form problem in my own copy by adding the value="" to the input tags and putting the variable that contains the associated data inbetween the quotes.

And both are total bollocks. This will not stop spamming and I somehow cannot see the nastier bots out there giving a rats arse about robot.txt files nor robots meta tags.

And I repeat THIS WILL NOT STOP SPAM. It's a nice idea but it's also the search engines trying to boost their own ego's by claiming that people only spam guestbooks and blogs to boost their ratings.

Do exactly to same but with the table tag which I believe is in body.php.

If spiders are told not to visit your guestbook then how are they going to follow the links within?
