I think they mean whatever program they are using to edit the files with.
According to the stats for the most popular page on my site 800x600 is still the most common. Possibly because most businesses and schools use it.
Definately a weird one. Even http://woodystaverntexas.hostasaurus.com/guestbook/admin.php?username=test&password=123&enter=1 doesn't log me in.
remember that the above code is the encrypted form of the password. the password is in fact 123. If you have no entries you could try delelting everything (except the templates s I see you have fitted it to your site) then reupload and run the install again.
The username should be test and the password should be 773359240eb9a1d9.
Looks like you changed the password at some point. Do a search on this forum for the thread about resetting your password.
I've updated the update install script since it was last tested. I need it testing.
No need to fear spam. We have a nice image verification mod to deal with spammers . Oh and since you have updated from 2.2 to 2.3.1 could yo uplease try www.carbonize.co.uk/install.php for me. It's an upgrade script I'm working on for updating from 2.2 to 2.3.1 and fixes the admin login loop problem.
If you are talking about the guestbook then you cannot. I have explained this in a different thread. Use the search function to find the thread in question as I gave a full explanation in it.
Yup do a search. Or do a search on the net for the 2.2 login exploit.
No. The tag in question is not a HTML tag but I believe is something the javascript uses for the menu.

The other reason I suggested a different menu is that I get a stupid javascript alert on every page because you are using the free version of the menu maker.
Do you have a link to the guestbook. Was this a new installation or an upgrade from 2.2?
No as i said the problem is in the file called poll_cookie.php
Self explanatory. On line 21 of poll_cookie.php you have some white space. I assume that the code ends at line 20 or 21. The end is ?>. Open the file and see if you can place the cursor beyond the ?> and if you can delete the space until the cursor is just after the ?>.
Looks like your hosts have just updated to PHP 4.3.10 which has only just come out due to a major security risk. Hasn't affected mine though. Try redownloading the guestbook and reuploading the files. Failing that speak to your hosts as they must of done something. Be nice if it told you to which file it was refering when it says line 1. From your post I assume you are using 2.2?

btw glad to see you use Firefox.
