1. the whole site is linkbait for my seo company, its been up for a week and over 2000 entries, its getting blogged like crazy and spidered constantly.
2. yes, but if you knew anything about seo you would know that the footer link i have in the index page will hold more value going back to my company site if a) its from a static url b) from a static page ie - content that is not changing
3. i already have this one all tweeked already so i woul really just preffer if you told me how to change the order

Is it possible set the guestbook settings so that the very first ten comments made were actually on page 1 of the guestbook?

at the moment the content is changing everytime somenone makes a comment, so the next time google spiders my guestbook the data has changed, this is not good for stability.

can anyone tell me if its possible

i want to migrate all the comments from my old site into my new one, unfortunatly the old one is using a different gbook script and i only have the data stored as .xls file - i want to use these old guestbook comments as content for my site

however, because my guestbook is inside a iframe, the url remains the same no matter what page of the guestbook i am on.

so the guestbook is dynamic within a static page, what i am looking for is a
my url looks like this

even if i am on page 2 or 3 of the php file.

but i want to see if there is a way to use the mod_rewrite to make SEO friendly urls so they look like this

if i can get this to work, the comments my visitors make willl act as valid unique content for my site and help with its rankings.

i was wondering, if i had 10,000 comments in my guestbook, that would be 1000 pages of comments, or will there just be 1 page still and my guestbook would be dynamic within th iframe and the html page that its in would remain static?

is there a txt file that i can edit, like a tab delimited file where i can access it, do a load of entries, copy and paste the a few hundred times and then kick start my guestbook that way?
