Hi,

at first myguestbook was located in a directiry on my domain and everything worked fine.
(http://www.upbeat.nl/gb/)

when i made a subdomein in the virtualserver en dns servers and want to view the guestbook through its subdomain... the images dissapear and when i view the info it says that the particulair picture is located at http://img/browser.gif en not where it suposed to be (http://gastenboek.upbeat.nl)

Can anyone help me with my problem ??

Yeah I undersatnad what u are saying but the installation is surposed to create all the databases for u aint it?

Anyway here's some detailed info:

Apache on Win2k with mysql and activeperl and php installed, all works fine.

When i run the install.php i get the installation dialog box, however when I click the next button it just reloads the page again.

If I hover over the next button in the status bar of IE it gives the url of the install.php address.

I've done everything in the installation guide in the other forum and reinstalled several times but still can't get off first base, plz help!!

Not everybody knows the answer to every problem. Just be patient and wait till someone does know the answer to your problem.

Maybe it'll help if you put down a little more information on what your problem really is. Because I wasn't sure about what you meant with your question.

You can change the links that someone admits by downloading the file and change the link in the html. Then upload the file again.

Or do you mean that you want to change the catgories? Also that can be done. Just let me know and I will tel you how.

I to have a problem seting up what looks to be a very good voting system. I have done the same as the post above but whenever I run the install.php in IE (v6) I click next but nothing happens, help!

Ok, I just recently changed servers, on my old server advanced poll 2.0 worked
now when i try to install to the new one it shows this error.

can somone please take me through how to install this? the readme inside of it doesnt help much.

what i DID try was installing everything in the 'db' folder to a 'poll' folder on my ftp and then running my address followed by poll/admin.php anyway, it begins to install but gives me some error about a 666 something or another (sorry about that i took it off server and cant check to see what it says)

also it askes to put all of my info into one of the files.

i know everything but the dbname, im sure that stands for database name. but i still dont know what that is.... can somone help?

I think all path is correct:

CHMOD for logfiles is 777, cgi-bin 755, gif 755, ip.log 666 and *.pl 755.

When I try to saw my stat I got 500 internal error. Whats the problem?
