Hello , I'm new to php, so forgive if i'm asking stupid questions.

OK, here's the problem: I uploaded all files for advanced poll in ascii-mode to my webserver with CuteFTP. Then I decided I wanted to put it in another directory, so I deleted all files, at least I thought I did. All but 1 directories were deleted. Only the include-directory wasn't deleted and when I try to delete it, CuteFTP gives the message: "You don't have permission to perform this action."

So my question is: how can I delete the directory???

Sei froh, dass du überhaupt soweit gekommen bist. Ich bekomme dieses Ding nichtmal installiert.

Immer wenn ich eine php Datei, auf dem Server auf den ich den Poll hochgeladen habe, öffnen will, dann springt mir nur der Quelltext entgegen, mehr nicht.

Hope someone can help me! I'm trying to install the Perl Guestbook v1.51 and when I try to add a message I get the following error:

"Cannot open ID file guest_id.txt in /home/tk/public_html/guestbook for writing!"

I've tried changing access permissions for this file but it doesn't make any difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The dmeo shows Guestbooks with a menu off other guestbooks.

ich habe das einfache auf perl basierende guestbook gezogen und installiert, wenn aber einen eintrag schreibe kommt folgender fehler:
Cannot create ID file guest_id.txt in /usr/local/server/book. Please check your base directory.
Was muss ich denn in der guestbook.pl bei $base_dir angeben???

I'm using advanced poll 2.0. The admin section uses a template engine. How is it possible that $lang[IndexTitle] in the HTML-template file is converted in the php-file index.php to Poll List? Now I want to use this template engine in another script. But I can't see the right code which I need. Maybe do you know the code I mean.

Hi, könnte man in das Script auch noch die Funktion zur Anzeige der Bildschirmauflösung des Besuchers einbauen?
Ist wirklich ein super Script, aber diese Anzeige fehlt leider noch

ich habe Advanced Poll 2.0 auf einem PHP-fähigem Server installirt und es läuft dort auch hervorragend (glänzend, ein sehr gelungenes Skriptum).

Nun sollen die Polls aber in eine Seite eingebunden werden, dessen Server zwar PHP kann, aber auf der AP nicht installiert ist.

Ein einfaches Ändern der poll.php in require "http://www.server-mit-advanced-poll.org/pollphp/booth.php"; brachte nicht die erwünschte Wirkung.

Gibt es üpberhaupt einen Weg, die Polls auf einem Server einzubinden, der zwar PHP beherrscht, aber Advanced Poll 2.0 niht iunstalliert hat (die Installation ist aus anderen Gründen auf diesem Server leider nicht möglich).

how do you mean this?? What is poll.php ? Is this the name of the file where I see my poll ? I dont find this file? Please help me!
