I'm testing Advance Poll. I want people to vote only once. I then use the IP/Table feature, which seems to work fine, except one thing: When I specify the duration (example: 96 hours) until the person can vote again, Advance Poll does not seem to take it into account. It looks like, whatever I put in there, the person will be able to vote again after 24h.

Any idea ?

Also take a look at Auron's instructions here, which say the cookie expiration time should be the same as the lock-out time:

After I a user votes, he/she is then being prevented from voting again, BUT ONLY for 24 hours, and NOT 96 hours as per my settings. That is my concern.

Also, is it necessary to have the "cookie" features ? Because users can always configure their browsers for not to accept cookies and then vote multiple times. Am I wrong ?

I tried it with some of the code changes in my testpoll.php (where the poll is embedded) but it didn't work.
