I know that this will sound like a stupid question for those who know but,
Must I have access to a SQL server to run th poll? My hosting co. want an extra $100 per annum for this.
Is there another way of doing it?

Remember, give your answers like I'm a five year old.

As far I know you need the db.
I would changed Co.
I'll bet they want a yearly contract too. That sez something right there.

I pay a total of $120 per year for the whole ball 'o wax, and am billed monthly.
Of course, that is on top of my ISP.

I suggest two things here,

1, Either change the company that hosts your website, or
2, Use the text version of PHPpoll.

Sorry, that is the only choices you have
