Hi

I use the advanced guestbook 2.3.4 and I have placed the human verification code in the specific files. Before I did that, I got lots of spam and afterwards it stoppet. It worked fine for a long time, until just recently when the guestbook is getting spammed again. Both by custom posts and private posts.
And the spam I got today was a really ugly and a horrible page and I don´t want my visitors to visit such a page. Luckily I noticed it real fast.

Why doesn´t the human verification code work all of a sudden?
Do I need to do some upgrade again in some way?

Thanks in advance

Well the anti bot test is working fine. Are the spam comments or entries?

It´s only entries, but some of them were private entries and a spam robot can´t do that or?

I think the best would be to put some code in the files so that I would have to authorize the entries before they are shown in the guestbook. But I don´t know how to do that.

Sorry didn't read last post properly. Yes if you follow the instructions exactly you will keep your existing entries.

I´m just wondering about the installation. Do I have to install the lazarusgb first and then the agupdate or can I upgrade only with the agupdate files?

You just upload the lazarus files. Copy the database information from the AG config file to the Lazarus config file then run the agupdate.php file. No need to install.

Hi

It worked fine and all the entries are still there but my logo shrinked.

where do I change the size? (In what file?) the size of the logo are width=234 px and the height=60 px

http://www.fobasajten.se/gastbok/

Great that I can moderate the entries before they are shown in the guestbook.

Thank you

Hi....if I could jump in here, I might be able to help

Open templates/body.php and on about line 4 you should see

Change it to

Your logo should now be the correct size....good luck

Well in Lazarus it would be body.tpl and in the templates/classic folder but the rest of Mama's info is correct.

I just installed 2.4.3, where do I set the option to moderate entries?
Or do I need to install something else first?

thanks!

How can I switch to Lazarus from AG without losing any of my current style or entries?

Most interested in the moderation feature.

Thank You.
