I plan to contact the ISP to see if and how the message pertains to me.

We don't have any forms on our website and the only php scripts we use are in the guestbook.

There is no copy of phpBB in our directory.

VERY obvious to you.....

I do appreciate the response.
Yesterday I received this message from my ISP:

"There was a recent security issue with older phpBB versions. More
information on this can be found here:

If you use this script, please ensure you have upgraded to the latest version, 2.0.15. If you do not use this script, you do not need to do anything.
phpBB boards running versions less than 2.0.15 must be upgraded."

We run Guestbook v2.2 and I don't know if this pertains to us or not. Before I start searching for and relacing code I'd like to be somewhat sure that I know what I'm doing.

Carbonize....your advice, please.
Carbonize, I LOVE YOU.

I sent you an email from another address. Let me know if you don't receive it.
Can you tell me what the file is called?

I sent it again. Let me know if you don't get it.
Another is being sent to your carbonize address.
I sent my messages to your hotmail account.
PM for you.
Well, one thing I noticed is that when I enter my data in the style form no colors show up in the boxes to the right of the text fields. Somewhere else on this site I saw a screen shot of a completed form with colors showing.

I'm afraid this problem is beyond me.
I also tried adding a font color tag right in the code but that didn't work either.

Any other suggestions as to why this is hosed?

And, is this the work of a hacker? I guess I thought they just visited a site and wrote nasty comments.
Here's my header file:

<meta name="keywords" content="guestbook, php, script, mySQL, free, advance">

<style type="text/css">

.font1 { font-family: $VARS[font_face]; font-size: $VARS[tb_font_1]; color: $VARS[text_color] }

.font2 { font-family: $VARS[font_face]; font-size: $VARS[tb_font_2]; color: $VARS[text_color] }

.font3 { font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 7.5pt; color: $VARS[text_color]; font-weight: bold}

.select { font-family: $VARS[font_face]; font-size: 9pt}

.input { font-family: $VARS[font_face]; font-size: 9pt}

<body bgcolor="$VARS[pbgcolor]" link="$VARS[link_color]" vlink="$VARS[link_color]">
Well technically you can....but I can't. I fill in the data and press submit, upload my file and it looks the same....black on black.
and when you say 'they' are you referring to hackers?
