I have removed the posts. It was not easy given that the works proxy kept killing my connection due to the amount of bad language in your guestbook. Patch it now. http://www.carbonize.co.uk/Board look in modifications for the patch.
Default is username test and password 123. May not work if you are on a recent version of MySQL in which case you will need www.carbonize.co.uk/reset.zip
You need to install it. http://dmilaco.us/guestbook/install.php.
You will need the name of your MySQL database, your MySQL username and password. All of this should be available from your control panel or ask your host.
You can open it using notepad, wordpad or any text editor.
This one must of slipped through. Hopefully Auron will reply to it soon.
It's a cache thing. Either the page is cached by your browser or by your hosts but either way you are seeing the cached page and not the updated one. You could try this. Open up Internet Explorer. Click tols at the top then Internet Options. Then click the Settings button and select Automatic where it asks when to check for a new version of a page.
1 - Does your host provide an MySQL database?
2 - If so check that you put the correct information in the config.inc.php file
Has your guestbook suffered from the recent increase in spam? The ones where some of the names are dates, the homepage is umax or hotel-shop, and some of the names have +'s instead of spaces? Well if you have access to phpMyAdmin or the ability to run SQL queries from cPanel you could try this

This should work as all of these spam entries appear to come from one source which I believe is a worm or virus of some sort. All of the entries from this one source have the exact same ICQ number and this query should delete all posts that have that ICQ number.
Doubtful. Anyway did removing them fix it?
Unfortunately the poll script is open to exploitation whereby anyone with some minor skill could submit numerous votes.
Scary thing is I was just looking at this one about an hour ago after going through old emails.
Which mod? Yahoo/MSN or the time/date in comment ?

Whats with the f's?
I've already added this to The db Guestbook (aka Advanced Guestbook 2.3.1). Is it worth me writing a mod for it? I am contemplating writing a proper Yahoo/MSN mod but is it worth it or should I just let people update to The db Guestbook to get the extra stuff?
