I was getting spammed more than a dozen times each and every day. Someone posted a comment last night calling themselves "SPAM" and saying that they were going to hit my guestbook hard unless I blocked them. I've been coming here looking for a solution to my spam problem for many months and noone has a solution. I password protected my guestbook, but they still posted. I got fed up and deleted the entire guestbook today.
