I installed advance guestbook on my host and when I enter some text to check if everything is working.....no matter if I press Preview or Add Entry button....I am again returned to the same Add Entry page without adding any entry!
Can some one figure it out what may be the problem?
http://suma.xug.net/gbook/index.php is the URL for the guestbook!

Everything is fine....tmp and public directories are CHMOD 777

I have username/pass/host IP
admin/config.inc.php properly configured!!
should I do anything with mysql server??
mysql is on different server and I use the
IP address.

My problem is the following:

MySQL Error : Database Error
Error Number: 1046 No Database Selected
Date : Sat, June 15, 2002 02:08:12
Browser : Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 9

Referer :
PHP Version : 4.1.2
OS : Linux
Server : Apache/1.3.24 (Unix) PHP/4.1.2
Script Name : /nuevo/index.php

I take the script in php lonely and it runs OK, but the same script with power template, included as php program it produces this error.

Any can I help me?

Okay I am pretty new to this and this might be simple but I am lost. I installed the advanced Poll on mysql and did the install and thought I configured everything, but I cant get anything to show up on my front page where I want to put the poll. What else do I need to do? If someone can tell me where and what files to install on the page I would greatly appreciate it. Please reply with help or someone know of any directions that I might understand better I would like that as well. PHP is new to me. Thanks Again,

Ich wollte jetzt die Access Stat installieren, doch leider hat es noch nicht geklappt. Das Problem liegt meiner Meinung nach bei der Angabe des Logfiles. Ich habe auf meinem Webspace bereits eine Logdatei, die vom Provider zur Verfügung gestellt wurde. Muss ich auf die verlinken oder auf die Textdatei, die mit der Access Stat hochgeladen wird?
