What's the difference? I have a real estate website - Or am trying to create it, actually. Is there any reason to use .org instead of .com?

Kind of frustrated. Not being particulary bright to begin with, the learning curve for building a real estate website using Wordpress.com with GoDaddy hosting is killing me. I'm stuck. for now, the problem is that I post a video of a house on my website, and the "edit this" button goes on with it, so that ANYone viewing my website can get into my dashboard!!!! any help for me?
